Introduction
RideShare helps passengers and drivers arrange long-distance shared journeys. We are preparing for a UK-first launch while keeping the service flexible for future regions.
This notice explains the personal information we use to run the platform, keep users safer, provide support, and meet legal duties.
Information You Provide
We may collect account details, profile information, contact details, phone verification status, identity verification status, driver profile and vehicle details, journey listings, booking requests, messages, support tickets, emergency contact details, uploaded profile photos, identity evidence, driver evidence, vehicle or insurance evidence, support evidence, and payment-related records created in the app.
Uploaded Files And Evidence
Users may upload files such as profile photos, identity evidence, driver evidence, vehicle or insurance evidence, and support ticket evidence. Sensitive evidence is restricted to the account owner and authorised operational, support, or admin reviewers. Profile photos may be visible to other users where needed for trust and safety.
Information Collected Automatically
We use session, device, usage, security, and cookie information needed to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect accounts, and understand whether the app is working correctly. Analytics and marketing cookies are not enabled unless configured in a future release.
Location And Emergency Tracking
Live journey and trip-event information may include route, status, stop, progress, and location-label information entered or generated by the app. Emergency tracking links are intended to show journey-scoped information to a trusted contact and should not be treated as a replacement for emergency services.
How We Use Information
We use information to create accounts, verify trust and safety steps, confirm email or phone contact routes, publish journeys, process booking requests, support messages and notifications, provide support, review disputes, maintain payment and payout records, investigate safety concerns, and protect the platform.
Lawful Bases For UK Launch
For the UK launch, our lawful bases may include contract performance, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, consent where required for optional cookies or communications, legal obligations, and vital interests in limited safety or emergency contexts.
Sharing Information
We share limited information with other users where needed for a journey, such as profile, booking, route, driver, vehicle, or passenger details. We may also share information with service providers who help with hosting, email delivery, support, security, phone verification, payment records, or future verification workflows, and with authorities where legally required.
Admin, Support, And Safety Review
Authorised admin and support users may access account, journey, booking, support, payment, payout, verification, notification, and emergency-share information where needed to operate the service, review safety issues, resolve support requests, or meet audit needs.
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the service, safety, dispute handling, audit, legal, tax, and operational reasons. Some records, such as uploaded evidence, payment, support, or safety records, may need to be kept longer than ordinary profile information.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information. You can contact us at support@zbmove.com.
International Transfers
The service is UK-first but designed for future global operation. If information is processed outside your country, we will use appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections or equivalent transfer mechanisms where required.
Children, Security, And Complaints
RideShare is not intended for users under 18. We use technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no service can guarantee absolute security.
You can contact support through the support page or contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how a privacy concern is handled.
